Anton Sidunov
Head Cheff

Anton Sidunov has been heading up the kitchen team at Ryabaga since 2012. His talent and dedication have had a key role in sending the culinary experience in Ryabaga to nstaggering heights. Anton takes his role as a leader very seriously, and feeds nearly 70 people daily in the most remote corner of the Kola Peninsula.

Natasha Shurina
Sous Chef

Natasha has been part of our kitchen team since 1997. As the wife of Sergei Zhurin, the duo makes a remarkably talented team. Natasha is best known for her work on the soups that accompany river lunches, and her mastery of local ingredients continues to receive the praise of guests. Her sweet and unassuming manner makes her a joy to have on staff.

Julia Tokareva
Sous Chef

From Murmansk, Julia has been part of the Ponoi team since 2013. Her methodical approach and zest for cooking giver her an edge that is most appreciated by the guests and staff alike. During the winter Julia works in the famed "Cafe Leto," alongside Anton Sidunov. Always in a great mood, she loves spending time in nature as well as dancing.

Roman Zavyalov
Pastry Chef

Roman hails from Murmansk and has been a pastry chef at Baltic Bread Bakery in Mfor nearly 9 years. He is in charge of preparing not only all breads, cookies, and baked goods, but he also works magic with the Ryabaga desserts.

Misha Salunin
Sous Chef

Misha has been working with us on Ponoi since 2015. He resides in Murmansk in the off-season, though he attended college in St. Petersburg, and earned a degree as a Technologist. Misha is an accomplished powerlifte, and he brings his experience as a sushi chef to Ryabaga, much to the delight of guests.

Marina Omelina
Kitchen Staff

Marina Omelina joined Ryabaga in 2015. She is married with Mechanic Tolik Kustnesov. Always smiling, Marina enjoys keeping herself fit and is a very competitive Judo wrestler. It was in this discipline that she was formerly a Western Russia champion.
